Tales of Arise, which is poised for a September 10, 2021 release, is currently available to play in a console-exclusive demo. Playing the demo also unlocks a Vacation Hootle accessory which can be redeemed in-game.

Before you sink precious hours into the demo, you should know: will save data carry over into the full Tales of Arise game?

The answer is no, save data from the Tales of Arise demo will not transfer to the full game. The contents of the demo have been edited and differ from the final game. In addition, some extra features from the final game will be unavailable in demo play.

Any progress you make in the demo version will not carry over into the official Tales of Arise game. The only item you’ll be able to take into the full game is the Vacation Hootle accessory that is rewarded to demo players.
