With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II right around the corner, there have been rumors about the next iteration of the popular Battle Royale, Warzone. Although nothing has been confirmed yet, we can expect a Cal of Duty: Warzone successor to arrive by its third anniversary in 2023.
Since Warzone 2 is said to be an entirely new game, your cosmetics and skins from Warzone will not carry over to it. There will be brand new characters, maps, and weapons for players to experience, and porting content from a previous generation game wouldn’t be the best thing to do.
This is also necessary considering the fact that Warzone has become too cluttered lately with all the content. Furthermore, over hundreds of weapons, blueprints, and operators from three different Call of Duty games have greatly increased the game’s assets and hence the file size.
Nonetheless, Warzone will still be up and running even after the release of Warzone 2. Therefore, you’ll be able to rock your weapons blueprints and operator skins whenever you hop back on Warzone.
