As you play Stardew Valley, you may get the message “A Train is Passing Through Stardew Valley.” This may seem strange to those unfamiliar, but this is a great time to head to your nearest train station. Many items are dropped by Stardew Valley’s trains.
What do you get from the train in Stardew Valley?
The trains drop coal, iron ore, stone, geodes, wood, and leprechaun shoes. If you are close enough to it when the message is received, it is possible to see the items being dropped by the train. The items will remain here until the player goes to bed. We have provided the location of the Train Station above.
Players will only see the event pop-up if they are outside, and a train whistle will always accompany it. Even players who are too far from the train to see it can still pick up items, as they stay there until the end of the day.
If you cannot access the train, that is because a boulder is blocking its path. A large earthquake will clear the boulder on the 3rd of Summer in the first year, which allows players to see the railroad.
