As you take on the hordes of Diablo, you will come across legendary gems. Not to be confused with Legendary gear, Legendary gems are rare drops from Elder Rifts that can significantly enhance your build and damage. It’s important you know which Legendary gems are best for your class.
What are Legendary Gems in Diablo Immortal
Diablo Immortal contains normal and Legendary Gems. Normal Gems can only be slotted on secondary gear and give a small buff. Legendary Gems can be slotted into your primary gear and will provide a significant boost to your attributes along with unique effects.
Why are Legendary Gems better than normal gems?
Normal gems only provide minor bonuses to a single attribute. Normal gems are expensive to upgrade and only provide minor increases per upgrade. Legendary gems provide combat rating, resonance, and a unique effect that can significantly improve your build. You can equip up to six at a time, into your primary gear: Main Hand, Off-Hand, Helm, Chest, Shoulders, and Pants. Legendary Gems can be increased to Rank 10 providing huge bonuses and allowing you to awake legendary gear.
How to Obtain Legendary Gems
Legendary Gems are primarily obtained by completing Elder Rifts with Crest or Legendary Crest Modifiers. Legendary Crests guarantee a Legendary Gem will drop. They can also be obtained by:
- Crafting at the Apprentice Jeweler.
- Buying from the Hilts Trader.
- Battle Pass Rank Up Rewards.
- Buying from the Marketplace.
Best Legendary Gems for Any Class
Several Legendary Gems can be used to great success for any class. These Gems can fit in any build:
- Fervant Fang: Each time you damage an enemy increases the damage it takes from your attacks by 2.4%, up to a maximum of 24% at 10 stacks. Also increases all damage you deal to Elite monsters by 6%.
- Everlasting Torment: Your critical hits inflict agony, dealing 30% base damage + 122 every second for 6 seconds. Each nearby enemy afflicted with agony increases your Attack Speed by 6%. Each enemy can only be affected by agony once every 20 seconds.
- Lightning Core: Your Primary Attacks and movement slowly charge you up with electricity. When fully-charged, your Primary Attacks release chain lightning, dealing 280% base damage + 1134 to nearby enemies. Increases all damage you deal by 12% for 3 seconds. 20 second cooldown.
- Power & Command: Power and Command alternates states every 9 seconds. Power increases your Primary Attack damage by 24%. Command increases all other skill damage by 24%. Each time these states alternate, you have a 30% chance to dispel a harmful effect from yourself.
Best Barbarian Legendary Gems
The Barbarian is an aggressive melee fighter dual-wielding massive weapons to cut enemies down in front of you.
- Trickshot Gem: Your Channel Skills consume energy 24% slower. You take 2% decreased damage while using a Channeling Skill.
- Chained Death: Increases damage done by your attacks by 2.5% per target hit, up to a maximum of 17.5% with 7 targets.
Best Crusader Legendary Gems
This class is a high health pool and filled with crowd control skills and gather to manipulate the enemies around you.
- Defiant Soul: Each time you Block an attack you deal 192% base damage + 777 to all nearby enemies, and then take 6% decreased damage for the next 3 seconds. 20 second cooldown.
- Pain of Subjugation: You deal 16% increased damage to enemies suffering loss of control and take 4% decreased damage while you are suffering loss of control.
- Chained Death: Increases damage done by your attacks by 2.5% per target hit, up to a maximum of 17.5% with 7 targets.
Best Demon Hunter Legendary Gems
This agile ranged class fills an archer role in Diablo Immortal. Demon Hunters will always be moving while attacking and have massive AOE damage skills.
- Berserker’s Eye: Increases all damage you deal by 16% and increases your Critical Hit Chance by 2%, but also increases all damage you take by 5%.
- Ca’arsen’s Invigoration: Increases the speed of your Primary Attack by 16%, and the damage of your Primary Attack by 2%.
- Bloody Reach: Your attacks deal 6% increased damage for every 2 yards between you and the enemy hit. Maximum increase of 24% at 8 yards. In addition your attacks have a 1.2% chance to decrease enemy attacks and movement speed by 35% for 2 seconds.
Best Monk Legendary Gems
The monk is another physical melee class, with more range than a Barbarian, however, focused on combining their skills.
- Seled’s Weakening: Gain 18% increased damage for 60 seconds after killing an Elite monster. Increases all damage you deal to Elite monsters by 4%.
- Chained Death: Increases damage done by your attacks by 2.5% per target hit, up to a maximum of 17.5% with 7 targets.
Best Necromancer Legendary Gems
This class is a mid-range class that focuses on summoning undead minions to do your bidding.
- Zod Stone: Increases the duration of Ultimate Skills by 48%. Increased the damage of Ultimate skills by 6%.
- Freedom and Devotion: Increases the duration of your summons by 24% and the damage done by your summons by 3%.
- Follower’s Burden: Increases all damage you deal by 3% for each summon you control, up to a maximum increase of 18%. Additionally, your summons take 6% decreased damage.
Best Wizard Legendary Gems
The wizard is a ranged mage class, combing their elemental attacks to apply different status effects to enemies while damaging from range.
- Berserker’s Eye: Increases all damage you deal by 16% and increases your Critical Hit Chance by 2%, but also increases all damage you take by 5%.
