Xbox kicked off things at the Tokyo Game Show 2022 with a bang. Its 45-minute showcase was packed with exciting new titles and updates on existing and upcoming games. It’s a lot to take in, but here are the highlights.

Tokyo Game Show 2022 – Xbox Game Showcase

  • Persona 5 The Royal, Persona3 Portable, Persona 4 The Golden
    • The best of the Persona series is coming to Game Pass on with Persona 5 releasing October 21, 2022, and Persona 3 and 4 following shortly thereafter.
  • Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty
    • From Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja comes a tale based on the Three Kingdoms. Featuring exciting combat, a deep character customization system, and online play, this looks like an interesting take on the epic tale.
  • Palworld
    • It’s a monster collecting title with farming elements and has more than a few people quite excited.
  • Naraka Bladepoint
    • There will be a new campaign mode with Showdown, the new Holoroth map, and the new hero, Yin.
  • Exoprimal
    • A new IP from Capcom that features futuristic mech suits battling against hordes of aggressive dinosaurs. The gameplay trailer shown talked a lot about the story without actually revealing much. It is expected to release in 2023.
  • BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle Special Edition
    • A 2D fighter featuring characters from BlazBlue, RWBY, Arcana Hearts Max, Under Night In-Birth, Estival Versus, Ausf. Achse, and Persona in exciting 2v2 battles. It is due in Spring 2023 for Game Pass.
  • Guilty Gear Strive
    • The latest in the Guilty Gear series is coming to Game Pass in the Spring of 2023.
  • The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Anniversary Edition
    • Now available in Japan.
  • Fallout 76
    • The Pitt DLC is now available.
  • Redfall
    • The vampire shooter will be localized for Japan and include in-game text localization in Simplified and Traditional Chinese as well as Korean.
  • Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes
    • An ambitious new JRPG with over 100 heroes that makes use of them with a robust combat system. It will be coming to Game Pass in 2023.
  • Ni No Kuni Part 1 Remastered, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch Remastered
    • Coming to Game Pass today.
  • Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom
    • To be released in 2023.
  • Deathloop
    • Deathloop is coming to Game Pass on September 20, 2022, and will include the Golden Pass update.
  • Danganronpa V3
    • This bizarre title is coming to Game Pass on September 15, 2022.
  • Overwatch 2
    • The new hero, Kiriko, was revealed in an action-packed gameplay trailer.
  • Dyson Sphere Program
    • Coming October 13, 2022, to PC Game Pass.
  • Forza Horizon 5
    • A 10th Anniversary is coming to the pseudo arcade racer this October.
  • Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
    • The revolutionary Assassin’s Creed title is coming to Game Pass on September 15, 2022.
  • Fuga 2: Melodies of Steel
    • Coming to PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S in 2023.
