The Single Barrel Pump Shotgun is the newest shotgun to join the Fortnite armory. This gun is being dubbed as the Ranger Shotgun and is available in all six different rarities. As the name suggest, this shotgun has just one barrel, making it somewhat of a rifle as well. According to the description that we’ve seen in the leaks, the Single Barrel Pump Shotgun is more effective at longer distances, unlike the other weapons of the shotgun family.
That said, since the weapon is available in all five rarities, there’s a high chance that you could come across this weapon as random floor loot. You will also find this weapon in chests and probably in the supply drops as well. Most importantly, since the stats go up all the way to Mythic, there’s a chance that an NPC could be selling the weapon in Fortnite as well, but we’re not sure of this just yet. We’ll update this article once we have more accurate information about this weapon.
Popular Fortnite dataminer HYPEX listed out the stats in one of their tweets. These stats are in the order of common to legendary rarities of the weapon and they are as follows:
- Damage: 117/123/130/136/142/150
- Headshot: 146/154/163/170/178/187
- Structural Damage (Builds): 81/86/90/95/99/104
- Reload Time: 1.7/1.6/1.5/1.4/1.3/1.2
And that is everything that we know about the Ranger Shotgun, a.k.a the Single Barrel Shotgun in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2. Dataminers believe that the weapon will be available once the Fortnite v20.20 update downtime ends, because this weapon received a hotfix.
