In the early stages of Chapter Five, your team of Guardians will be faced with a puzzle in order to open a locked door to progress. In order to conquer this puzzle, your Visor function will be your best friend.
To begin, move through the door on the left side of the room marked with a green light. You’ll find it next to a Nova Corps recruitment sign.
Inside this room, look to the right and you’ll find a small malfunctioning hatch in the lower corner. Shoot it to open a portal, then use your Guardians Menu to send Rocket through.
Once Rocket is on the other side, he will reveal nodes on the ground and walls that are only visible through your Visor. Activate the Visor and locate a solid yellow path leading to the first node, flip that switch once.
Continue following the solid yellow line and it will lead you to another node that’s located above the locked door on the left wall—flip this switch once.
Keep following the solid yellow line to another node on the floor near the entrance of the room. Flip this switch once.

Now the solid yellow line will take to an option to lead the yellow line to the left or right. You’ll eventually need to lead it both ways, but for the purposes of this guide, we will start to the right, where the yellow line leads straight to the locked door. Flip this switch and the door will partially open.
Backtrack to the left side of the fork in the road and follow the solid yellow line to a node near a set of benches on the right side of the room, flip this switch once.
Continue following the line to a node near a set of benches across the room, nearer to the half-opened door. Flip this switch once and it will take the line around and back the wrong way, at first.
From here, move to the nearby node to the left of the half-opened door. Flip that switch once to send the yellow line up the wall next to the half-opened door.
From here, flip the switch on the final node—this will send the yellow line to the half-opened door and it will finally open wide.
