To get the Divinity Trace Rifle in Destiny 2, you will need to head to the Lunar Battleground during a patrol activity on the Moon. You can find the Lunar Battleground in the location shown below. While patrolling in this area, you will need to kill Vex enemies. Doing so will start the Divine Fragmentation quest.
Completing the Divine Fragmentation quest will reward you with the Divinity Trace Rifle in Destiny 2. Once you start the Divine Fragmentation quest in Destiny 2, you must go to Nessus. On Nessus, you will need to scan Oracles in the following Lost sectors:
- The Orrery
- Ancient’s Haunt
- The Conflux
You can find all three Lost Sectors on Nessus in the locations marked in the image below. After scanning all three Oracles, you will need to get 120 Decryption Cores. You can get 120 Decryption Cores by killing Vex enemies. We recommend heading back to the Moon and doing activities involving hordes of Vex enemies to get 120 Decryption Cores. After getting 120 Decryption Cores, you will need to get 30 Phantasmal Fragments by killing Nightmare enemies.
Earning the required 30 Phantasmal Fragments will allow you to get an Empowered Decryption Core, which will lead you to the last step. The last step is to complete the Garden of Salvation Raid. During the Garden of Salvation Raid, you will also need to complete all seven puzzles. Completing all seven puzzles will require six players, so we recommend getting a group of six friends to help complete the Raid puzzles. Doing so will ensure you get the Divinity Trace Rifle upon completing the Raid.
