In the Genshin Impact 2.4 livestream, developer miHoYo announced a new costume for the Yuheng of the Liyue Qixing. Keqing is one of the game’s first five-star characters, always available through the standard banner, while having enjoyed a solo limited banner as well.
After over a year since release, the game is finally giving Keqing an optional new look in the form of a purchasable Outfit that will drop along with the Lantern Rite event in Version 2.4—the Fleeting Colors in Flight—which is set to release on Jan. 5, 2022.

Based on the livestream, players will be able to purchase Keqing’s skin, the Opulent Splendor, through the Character Outfits section of the Shop for Genesis Crystals. The Outfit is expected to go on sale during the event period and will remain purchasable without a discount after it ends. If you don’t currently own Keqing, don’t worry—you can take advantage of the sale by purchasing the Outfit in advance to equip once you finally get her.
The exact price and unlock requirements for the Opulent Splendor are currently unknown. However, based on Jean’s skin release during the Golden Apple Archipelago event, Keqing’s skin may cost a discounted price of 1,350 Genesis Crystals and a normal price of 1,680 Genesis Crystals. This pricing is currently just speculation, so take it with a grain of salt.
Genesis Crystals can be obtained through the Crystal Top-Up section of the Shop for real-life money. Purchasing the Blessing of the Welkin Moon will also give 300 Genesis Crystals per instance.
Participating in the Lantern Rite event will merit you a free four-star (including Yun Jin!) after completing a series of quests and missions. In preparation, check out our guide on the Best Yun Jin Build in Genshin Impact.
