As you take on the hordes in Diablo Immortal, you will come across legendary gear. Not to be confused with Legendary gems, Legendary gear is rare drops that can significantly enhance your build and damage with unique effects. You must know how to farm legendary gear to get stronger.

Legendary gear can be equipped in all your primary equipment slots. These are your main-hand weapon, off-hand weapon, shoulder, legs, helmet, and chest. Legendary items will have multiple attribute bonuses and a unique effect that will change the effects of one of your skills, such as adding frost damage.

After you reach level 60 and unlock the paragon system, you will also be able to obtain set items which are legendary equivalents for your secondary equipment slots. These are gloves, boots, belts, amulet, and two rings. Set items, however, have to be matched to gain their bonuses.

Diablo Immortal Legendary Farming Guide

Legendary items are rare drops that can drop from any enemy. You can increase the drop rate by completing specific content or increasing the difficulty. The best ways to farm legendaries are:

  • Farm Dungeons and Elder Rifts in groups.
  • Increase your Hell difficulty to increase drop rates.
  • Complete Bounties and zone events.
  • Hilts Trader will provide one legendary item per week at the cost of 1600 hilts.

The Battle Pass and Kill of the Day rewards can also provide legendary items periodically. Keep an eye on the Codex for Dungeons that have increased drop rates.

How to farm specific Legendary Items in Diablo Immortal?

Unfortunately, there is no way to specifically farm a certain piece of legendary gear as all drops are random. It is possible to farm-specific set items as they only drop from specific dungeons on certain difficulties. If you obtain legendary items that are stronger than your current item but don’t have the bonus legendary effect you need, you can use Essence Transfer to inherit a legendary effect—essentially changing that legendary into the one you need.
