The GENSHIN CONCERT 2022 – Melodies of an Endless Journey is set to go live on October 2, 2022, 12:00 noon (UTC+8). The online concert is a collaborative effort between the HOYO-MiX, HoYoverse’s in-house music production studio, and the Hollywood Chamber Orchestra, while world-famous composer, arranger, and music producer Shiro Sagisu will lead the show as the Music Director. The program will run for approximately 75 minutes, focusing on bringing fans renditions and creative adaptations of well-loved Genshin Impact soundtracks.

The Hollywood Chamber Orchestra will be conducted by award-winning music conductor and composer Eímear Noone, who has worked on various video games from the World of Warcraft to The Legend of Zelda. Meanwhile, Music Director Shiro Sagisu served as the music producer and composer for iconic films and animations, including Neon Genesis Evangelion.

The concert will feature tunes from Monstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, and Sumeru, four of the seven nations in Teyvat—a fantastical world that exists within Genshin Impact’s open world. The original soundtracks were composed and produced by Yu-Peng Chen and HOYO-MiX, with an aim to depict Teyvat’s diverse regions and culture, incorporating elements from various parts of the real world as well. In addition, the concert will showcase music from its upcoming thirteenth album, which introduces music from the rainforests of Sumeru.

According to Shiro Sagisu, “The original Genshin Impact soundtracks fit perfectly into the actual in-game scenes and ambiance, and also provide much to imagine beyond the game. Together with the HOYO-MiX team and global artists, we’ve tried different touches to the music, weaving elements of pop music, rock, and jazz into it. Hopefully, we can create a refreshing and fun experience for the players.”
