Remedy Entertainment has become a mainstay in narrative storytelling. With titles like Control seeing large praise in recent years, some may have forgotten about their cult classic hit from the 2010s: Alan Wake. Luckily, new and old fans will get a chance to experience this title with a fresh coat of paint in 2021.

Remedy Entertainment’s Alan Wake Remastered will officially launch Fall 2021 on Epic Games Store, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Along with the base game, Alan Wake’s remaster will include all previously released DLCs, 4K visuals, and a director commentary by Sam Lake.

Alan Wake’s additional episodes, or Special Features: The Signal and The Writer, continue the main game’s story. This could indicate a desire by Remedy Entertainment to continue the Alan Wake story, but only time will tell. While Sam Lake, the creative director of Remedy Entertainment, didn’t give an official launch date for the cult classic, he did promise more information would come soon.
