Diablo 2 has many builds for players to use if they want to solo the game or go with a party. We have compiled the four best builds in the game, the skills you need and how many points to put in them, and what your equipment should look like. We do keep in mind that these should be some of the best classes in Diablo 2, but some builds are better, even if the classes are a little hard to master.

Druid

As part of The Lords of Destruction expansion, the Druid debuted as shapeshifter class in Diablo 2. They can cause massive damage with their Nature energy and skills, so this build concentrates on them. It is an excellent class for destroying multiple enemies at once. Druids are one of those hidden talent classes and having a Druid in your party can actually be a boon if their build is built for support.

When used effectively, the sorceress is one of the strongest classes in Diablo 2 and can be used to solo the game. It’s important to remember that she takes some time to get used to, and the early levels will feel weak compared to the huge boost you get when you’re level 30 and higher.

Although the Barbian Berserker is a pretty cliche build, there’s a reason it is so popular. Berserkers can cause a great deal of damage before they go down, but they play a crucial role in a party. This class is strong, has excellent skills to help themselves and the party, and is an overall fun build to play. We recommend this build for anyone who doesn’t want to deal with the complicated nature that Diablo 2 can sometimes have.

Paladin

The Paladin is sent to punish the demons in the name of their God. It is extremely effective and can solo the entire game, even early on. If you have a Paladin in a party, you should make them a sort of Vanguard. We don’t know why Blizzard seems to give this class so much love with every installment, but this is one of our favorite role-playing classes. We recommend this build for everyone to try at least once.
