The speed of ghosts in Phasmophobia depends on the type of ghosts. Most will have a standard speed that speeds up when they see players and are hunting. The exception to the rule is the following ghosts.
- Revenants
- Jinn
- Wraith
- Hantu
- Raiju

How fast are Revenants in Phasmophobia?
Revenants do not follow the same rule as all other ghosts. These speed demons speed up and catch players faster than any other ghost. Because of this, there is no way to outrun a Revenant.
Instead, you will need to hide and break the line of sight at least two times. Doing so will cause the ghost to give up, and in the case of the Revenant, slow down to a speed slower than most other ghosts.
How fast is a Jinn in Phasmophobia?
Jinns are faster when the player is far from it. When they see the player, they will also speed up slightly slower than a Revenant. But when they lose line of sight, the ghost will return to its normal speed. Because of this, all you need to do is follow the same rule of thumb with all ghosts, hide and break line of sight.

How fast is a Raiju in PHasmophobia?
Raijus is a bit faster when they absorb power from nearby electronics. Without the power from electronic devices, they move at the same speed as other ghosts. That said, breaking the line of sight will also work on these ghosts.
How fast is a Wraith in Phasmophobia?
Wraiths follow the same speed as all ghosts in Phasmopohbia but differ in how they can instantly teleport the player’s location and start doing ghost things. Other than this, they follow the same speed rules as most ghosts.
How fast is a Hantu in Phasmophobia?
Hantus are sightly faster than other ghosts when the house or location is at a certain degree. Turning on the power will fix this and cause these ghosts to become slower.
