What is Valorant Partnership Program?

Valorant Partnership Program is a new initiative by Riot Games where selected teams would participate in a league-style format against other teams from their respective region. It will be called the International League, and the teams will receive some form of sponsorship/investment directly from Riot Games. The competition would be weekly, and top teams from each region would earn spots in Global tournaments like VCT 2023.

Any teams that are not included in the Valorant Partnership can still participate in the Global Events by winning the Ascension Championship in their respective region. Once they win the open Ascension Championship, they will be added to the Valorant Partnership Program the following year. By 2027 Riot is expected to have 14 teams in each region to the current 10.
